Notes - Obituary:
John F. Chappelle, 56, of 7240 S.W. 118th Street, Miami, died there Friday.
A former resident of Fort Myers, he graduated from Fort Myers High School in 1937 and was a veteran of World War II. He came to Miami 12 years ago from Jacksonville, Fla. He was a pilot for National Airlines for 23 years and was a member of the Airline Pilot Association.
He is survived by his wife, Emily of Miami; four daughters, Shirley, Mrs. Helen Moody, Mrs. Frederica Carter and Mrs. Cynthia Kuharske; one brother, Richard Chappelle of Fort Myers and four grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Stanfill Funeral Home, Kendall Chapel, with burial in Woodlawn Park Cemetery in Miami.
