Marilee Baldwin Williams
December 15, 1936 - July 1, 2018
Marilee Baldwin Williams, 81, of Memphis, TN passed away at home on July 1, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born to the late David Lee and Emerald (Swain) Baldwin on December 15, 1936 in Titusville, FL. Marilee grew up in West Palm Beach, FL and was a long time resident of Clearwater, FL. She graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in education and later was an elementary and middle school teacher. In 2013, she moved to Memphis, TN with Cliff, her husband of 56 years. Marilee was an avid student of the Bible and was greatly involved in her churches both in Florida and Tennessee, serving others as a teacher, committee member and elder. Her vibrant and vivacious personality was always on display and she was much loved by a large circle of friends in Florida, North Carolina and Tennessee. She is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Cliff and her two daughters, Susan (John) Pirnia and Holly (Mike) Craft. She also leaves two grandchildren, Andrea Craft and Jonathan Craft; a sister, Helen Boone; and a brother, Robert Baldwin. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure and joy of knowing her. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5th between 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave. in Memphis. The funeral service will be held at Second Presbyterian Church, 4055 Poplar Ave. in Memphis on Friday, July 6th at 10:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, TN. Memorial donations may be made to Grandfather Home for Children (childrenshomealliance.org) or Memphis Union Mission (memphisunionmission.org).
