  Obituary: Head, Alfred On August 5, 2020, Alfred Allen Head, age 90, passed at his home in Smyrna, Georgia after a long illness. He previously lived in Lillian, Alabama; Pensacola, Florida; and Centre, Alabama. Al, as he was known to his family and friends, was born March 15, 1930, to Dove Turner Head, and Roy H. Head of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill Head of Missouri and Gene Head of Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Jane Swain of Smyrna, Georgia, son Richard Allen Head, daughters Lynn P. Wood, and Lea P. Bauguss; sister, Joyce Head Gray of Church Hill, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Interment in Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Georgia.
