  Obituary: Mrs. Gwendolyn T. Blocker, 92, 333 Melody, Trumann, died Monday at Rose Care Nursing Center in Trumann. She was a retired cafeteria cook for Salinas Valley Hospital in Salinas, CA, and owned and operated a restaurant in Lepanto. She was of the Church of Christ belief. Survivors include one daughter, Bettye McMurray of Brookville, PA; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Russell Blocker, and one daughter. Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 10 at Murphy Funeral Home chapel in Lepanto. Burial will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Curtis Raymond Nichols, Jimmy Anderson, Dale Harvison, Jack Foote, Mack Howington and Cliff Sharp. Visitation will be from 5 this afternoon until 8 this evening at the funeral home. (Published in The Jonesboro Sun on August 16, 2000)
