    • Obituary:

      Barry Allan Ano, age 51, of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL. He was born November 1, 1962 in Waukegan, IL, the son of Barry Jerome Ano and Sharon Lee (nee Roehr) Gyssler. He was united in marriage to Cheryl Ann Ricordati on September 12, 1987 in Palatine, IL.

      He is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl; his children, Riley Allan Ano, Emily Ann Ano, and Jason Andrew Ano all of Batavia; his father, Barry Ano of Hurricane, Utah; his mother, Sharon (Scott) Gyssler of Oklahoma City, OK; his siblings, Susan Gyssler of Tamarac, FL, Nicholas Ano of Texas; his mother-in-law Donna Ricordati of McHenry, IL; his sisters-in-law, Cindy (Mark) Egler and Pam (Paul) Hinrichs; and a niece, Marie Hinrichs; a nephew, Noah Egler; his grandmother, Lorraine Jan Roehr of Park Ridge; and many other dear family members and friends.

      He is preceded in death by a nephew, Jacob Hinrichs.

      A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave., in Batavia, where visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. until the hour of the service. Interment will be private.

      In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to the family.
