    • Obituary:

      Louis Anthony O'Shea, 47, of 1705 Rockingham Drive, Normal, a Pontiac Correctional Center employee, died at 2:31 a.m. yesterday (July 29, 1991) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

      His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at East Lawn-Brady Funeral Home, Bloomington, the Rev. Gerald T. Ward officiating. He will be cremated.

      Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

      He was born Sept. 26, 1943, in Cairo, a son of Louis E. and Marie Vaughn Ollis O'Shea. He married Patricia Farnham Dec. 28, 1979, in Pontiac. She survives.

      Also surviving are his mother, Joliet; one son, Sean Michael, Pontiac; one stepdaughter, Stephanie Steimle, 1705 Rockingham Drive, Normal; one brother, Gerald, Atlanta, Ga.; and two sisters, Nancy Quigley, Wilmington, and Pat Regis, Elwood.

      He was preceded in death by his father.

      Mr. O'Shea started with the Illinois Department of Corrections in 1967. Most recently, he was a clinical service supervisor at Pontiac Correctional Center.

      He received the Academy of Certified Social Workers award. He attended the American Academy of Human Sciences.

      He was a member of Alpha Chi national honor fraternity, Phi Gamma Mu national social sciences honor fraternity, Alpha Kappa Delta national sociology honor fraternity, Joliet Order of the Moose and Mid Illini Power Squadron.

      He received a bachelor of arts degree from Sam Houston State College in Houston and his master's from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

      Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Moosehart Fund, in care of the Bloomington Moose Lodge.
