    • Obituary:

Daniel Rankin, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Betty Jo Rankin; cherished son of the late Samuel and Hilda Rankin; devoted father of Susan Marie (Len) Tamborski, Daniel "Butch" Patrick (Karen Marie) Rankin, Kathleen Rankin, Timothy Rankin, Michele (Timothy) Burke, and Craig Rankin; loving grandfather of ten; treasured great-grandfather of eleven; dear brother of Betty Barry and Kay (Philip) Kempland.

Daniel was a meat cutter all of his life, spending most of that time at Schnucks. He had a passion for wood carving and would always share his creations. Daniel enjoyed the outdoors, growing up, he enjoyed riding dirt bikes and going hunting. Daniel was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Daniel's name to Knights of Columbus, Florissant (St. Ferdinand).
