- Obituary:
MOSCOW - Funeral services for James Ray Bryan Sr., 65, of Moscow will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28 in the First Baptist Church of Moscow with Bro. Robert Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Stokley Family Cemetery in Moscow. Bryan died Monday Nov. 23, 2009 in Lufkin. He was born June 1, 1944 in Lorenzo, Texas, to parents, William Odie Bryan and Emerald Mae McDonald Bryan. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Marilyn Bryan and Shirley Bryan; and one grandson, Joey Dean. He is survived by his wife, Joy Bryan of Moscow; sons, Michael Wayne Bryan of Shepherd and Pat Bryan of Porter; daughter, Robbie Cook of Moscow and James Bryan Jr. of Moscow; grandchildren, Laura Cook Lenox of Segno, Christopher Bryan of Porter, Emily Lemmond of South Carolina, James Ray Bryan III of Moscow, Jonathan Bryan of Moscow, Brandon Bryan of Moscow, and Jeanette Self of Shepherd. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Cody Ray Allen Self of Shepherd, Meghan Nicole Self of Shepherd, Kaitlyn Rae Self of Shepherd, Leiya Rain Lenox, Travis Dean of Rye; brother, John Bryan Sr. of Missouri, and sisters Betty James of Indian Springs, Lucille Vance of Dayton, and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Richard James, Jimmy Vance, Robert Cook, Carl Inman, Jim Brier, Stuart Brier, and Don Bullock. Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
