    Jackson - Judith Ann "Judy" Goodwin Blackburn, 62, of Jackson, MS, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 16, 2018, at St. Dominic's Hospital.

    Judy was born in Clarksdale, MS, on December 21, 1955, to Jane Alice and Bob Bailey Goodwin. She attended Delta Academy in Marks, MS, and she graduated from Mississippi College with a degree in accountancy.

    Judy married Claude Jack Blackburn, Jr. and together they reared two children, Josh and Jordan. She worked at Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance for 37 years, and at the time of her death was Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. This Company was part of her family and it meant so much to her. She was a member of many professional organizations, including the AICPA and MS Society of CPAs. She and Jack were congregants of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Jackson. Judy, a person of strong faith, deeply loved God, her family, her friends and co-workers, and her canine companion Stella.

    Judy was predeceased by her grandparents. She is survived by her husband Jack; her sons, Joshua Blackburn and wife Jenna of Denver, CO, and Jordan Blackburn of Huntsville, AL; her mother, Jane Segars Goodwin of Big Canoe, GA; her father and stepmother, Bob and Vikki Goodwin of Van Cleave, MS; three sisters, Jeri Wright (Roger) of Big Canoe, GA; Jane Moore (Randall) of Marks, MS; June Smith (Louis) of Gainesville, GA; her mother-in-law, Faye Blackburn of Beaumont, TX; her sister-in-law, Karen Holder of Beaumont, TX; an aunt, Mildred Rose (Claude) of Jackson, MO; four cousins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services for Judy will be held at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS, on Friday, July 20, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 20, from noon until 2:00 p.m.
