    BURLESON - Ada M. Brothers, a retired licensed vocational nurse, died Monday at a Burleson nursing center. She was 96.

    Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Burleson.

    Graveside service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Riverview Cemetery in Seymour.

    Mrs. Brothers was born in Erath County and had lived in Burleson since 1987. She was a member of Burleson Church of Christ. She enjoyed gospel music, crocheting and sewing.

    Her husband, Rhaud H. Brothers, died in 1949.

    Survivors: Son, Robert Brothers of Seymour; daughter, Doris Holt of Burleson; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

    Lucille Brothers Powell, 66, of 4904 Lindale died Monday, April 13, 1987 in a Wichita Falls Hospital.

    Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Village Church of Christ with the Rev. Les McGalliard, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery in Seymour. Arrangements were under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home.

    Mrs. Powell was born July 31, 1920, in Seymour, Texas. She was a retired RN and assistant supervisor for the Wichita Health Unit. She was a member of Faith Village Church. She had lived in Wichita Falls for 34 years.

    Survivors include her husband Clarence Whit; two sons, Davis of Wichita Falls and Randy Earl of Watertown, N.Y.; two daughters, Vickie Lynn Freeze of Estelline, Tex., and Theresa Lockhart of Memphis, Tex.; a brother, Robert Brothers of Seymour; a sister, Doris Holt of Ft. Worth; her mother, Ada Brothers of Wichita Falls and seven grandchildren.

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Doris was born Jan. 19, 1924, in Baylor County to Rhaud Brothers and Ada Beaver Brothers. She loved reading, gardening, traveling and camping. She was very much involved with her church work and enjoyed spending time with her friends there. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Holt; parents; one brother; and two sisters. Survivors: Daughters, Janice Bonham and husband, Bobby, of Burleson, Judy Cleveland and husband, Hal, of Burleson; grandchildren, Chris Delmere and wife, Tracy, Lori Coleman and husband, Wylie, Nicole Johnson, Jonathan Moore and wife, Rachel, Kimberly Adams and husband, JR, Monty Bonham and wife, Leigh, and Shawna Smetak and husband, Joe; 21 great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends.

    SEYMOUR (RNS) - Mrs. Maggie Lee Priddy, 50, a lifelong Seymour resident, died at 5:50 a.m. Thursday at Seymour Hospital after a lengthy illness. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Seymour Church of Christ.

    Charles Mackey and James Bryant, Church of Christ ministers, will officiate. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery, directed by Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

    Born Maggie Lee Brothers May 16, 1925, in Baylor County, she grew up here and attended Seymour schools. She married Orvey Priddy July 5, 1942, in Seymour.

    Mrs. Priddy was a Seymour Church of Christ member.

    Survivors include her husband; a son, Gary Don of Premont; a daughter, Mrs. Diane Ward of Lockney; her mother, Mrs. Ada Brothers of Wichita Falls; a brother, Robert Brothers of Seymour; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Powell of Wichita Falls and Mrs. Doris Holt of Fort Worth and three grandchildren.
