    HENDERSON - Services for Chad Phenix Hutto, 15, of Henderson will be held at the First Baptist Church of Henderson at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2002, with the Rev. Jere Wilson and the Rev. Bill Tisdale officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. Chad died Saturday, July 27, 2002, in Henderson. He was born March 7, 1987, in Tyler.

    Chad was a student of Henderson High School and a member of the First Baptist Church, where he was active in the youth program. Chad loved playing the guitar and singing, his summers at Camp Huawni and playing drums at football games on Friday nights. He was a member of the 2nd team all-district in tennis and ranked 20th in his class. He loved to hang out with his friends.

    The family will receive frineds 5-7 p.m. today, July 30, at the funeral home.

    Chad was preceded in death by his grandfather, James N. Phenix. He is survived by his parents, Charles and Connie Hutto of Henderson; a brother and sister, Charlie and Kim Hutto of Henderson; his grandparents, Corneil Phenix and and Charles R. and Dell Hutto, all of Henderson; and his uncles and aunts, Jim Phenix Jr., Bobby and Marcia Phenix and Rusty and Devon Phenix, all of Henderson and Sandy and Bobby Presley of Mesquite. Survivors also include his cousins, Teague, Trey and Dayne Phenix; Brandon and Clark Phenix; Leslie Jordan; Macy, Madison and Micah Phenix; and Kristy and Andrea Presley.

    Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Legg, Justin Duff, Cullen Parker, Cannon Welch, Colby Rowe and Chase Oswalt.

    Honorary pallbearers will be the Henderson High School Class of 2005 and Camp Huawni.
