Mrs. E.K. McIntyre Dies in Hospital Here

Mrs. Evelyn Katherine McIntyre, 76, resident of Wichita Falls for 19 years, died Thursday morning in a hospital here.

She had made her home in Bowie for the last year but was visiting in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Leonard, 1105 Austin, when she became ill.

Funeral arrangements are under direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.

She is survived by four sons, Earl McIntyre of Denison, J.B. McIntyre of Bowie, R.L. McIntyre of Dallas and J.E. McIntyre of Los Angeles, Calif.; six daughters, Mrs. Ima Smith of Sunset, Mrs. Leonard and Mrs. Vera Rogers of Wichita Falls, Mrs. Virgie Blaskowsky of Raymondville, Mrs. Velma Hearne of Bowie and Mrs. Bessie Howle of Big Spring; 26 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

FINAL RITES FOR MRS. E.Q. SMITH TODAY IN BOWIE

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today (Friday) from the First Baptist Church in Bowie for Mrs. Ima McIntyre Smith, 59, who died Wednesday night at her home in the Salona community.

Rev. E.F. McCurley, pastor of the Victory Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, will officiate. Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Owens-Brumley Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, E.Q. Smith; three step-children; Mrs. Nora Mae Eberley of Houston and M.J. Smith of Lamesa and V.L. Smith of Olton; four brothers: Earl McIntyre of Denison, J.B. Earl McIntyre Dies in Denison

Mr and Mrs. J.B. McIntyre were called to Denison, Friday, May 23, due to the death of his brother, Earl S. McIntyre, 71, who died at his home following a heart attack.

He had lived in Denison for 47 years and had been in ill health for a number of years.

Survivors include his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Frank Scofield of Denison; one brother, J.B. of Bowie; five sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Leonard and Mrs. Vera Rogers of Wichita Falls; Mrs. Virginia Blaskowsky of Weslaco; Mrs. Velma Hearne of Piermont, Calif., and Mrs. Beth Halston of Texarkana; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Johnson-Moore Chapel in Denison with the Rev. J.F. Ellison officiating. Mr. McIntyre was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery. Graveside services was conducted by Odd Fellows Lodge. Mr. and Mrs. McIntyre would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in August along with a family reunion here in Bowie at the J.B. McIntyre home.

Mrs. Leonard's Services Monday

Former Resident Dies In Dallas

Robert L. McIntyre, 53, brother of Mrs. Vera Rogers and Mrs. E.P. Leonard, both of Wichita Falls, died early Friday morning in Dallas.

A retired steelworker, McIntyre lived in Wichita Falls 20 years before moving to Dallas 10 years ago. He was born in Eastland County, Tex., in 1908.

Services will be held from the Lamar & Smith Funeral Home in Dallas at 3 p.m. Saturday.

McIntyre Rites To Be Tuesday

Services for Jesse McIntyre, 45, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Owens-Brumley Funeral Home chapel with Rev. T.H. Masters, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

McIntyre, a former Wichitan, died Friday in Memphis, Tenn. An employee of the Goodyear Rubber Company, McIntyre had lived in Paramount, Calif. for the past 20 years. He had previously lived in Wichita Falls eight years.

McIntyre was a member of the Bible Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, a son, three brothers and five sisters.

Jesse McIntyre of Paramount, Cal., arrived in Memphis yesterday afternoon to visit a cousin, Sam Daniel of 3573 Bayliss. He suffered an apparent heart attack there at 8:45 last night and was dead on arrival at Methodist Hospital, where he was taken in a Medic ambulance. He was 46.

Lillie McIntyre Ausburn, 85, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 5, at her home in McKinney, finally receiving her crown of life.

She was a cornerstone of the family to which she was devoted. She was also devoted to a multitude of friends and a faithful follower of Christ. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for 35 years. In 2002, she joined Waddill Street Baptist and attended as often as her health would permit. We will miss her deeply, but heaven is all the brighter with her presence.

She was born April 26, 1919 in Snow Hill (Collin County) to Willie Gilbert and Margaret M. (Jeffcoat) McIntyre. She was a lifelong resident of McKinney and a homemaker. Her family will greatly miss her. They always used her as their personal phone directory. She got a kick out of being called instead of them calling 411 for information. She also loved her family photo albums, talking and sharing family history with anyone who wanted or needed information. One event she truly looked forward to each year was the Jeffcoat family reunion. Now she is attending the best reunion of all.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Ausburn Grimes; grandson, Steven Floyd Grimes and wife, Kay; granddaughter, Lori Joan Carico and husband, Dudley; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Brittany and Michael Grimes and Morgan and Whitney Carico; three sisters: Gladys Thompson, Dorothy Foster and Janice Umphrey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Wilson Ausburn; daughter, Joan Ausburn Martin; parents; brothers, Malcolm and W.C. Matheny and Herschell Davenport and twin sister, Willie McIntyre Farmer. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, in the Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney.

Willie Nadyne Farmer, 85, died Thursday, September 9, 2004 in Wichita Falls.

A daughter of the late Willie Gilbert and Margaret McIntyre, Willie was born April 26, 1919 in Collin County, Texas. She retired from Bethania Hospital after twenty-eight years as an LVN. She was the first bus driver to bring children to church on Sunday at Southside Assembly of God, taught Sunday school for many years, and worked in the nursery at Evangel Temple until her health kept her from going. She was a member of Heritage Assembly of God and was affectionately known by her family as "Double Great." Her greatest enjoyment in life was her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Farmer; daughter, Linda Fugett; two grandsons; and three brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Cleta Newton and husband Troy of Canadian, Texas; two grandchildren, Randy Esch and wife Kathy of Wichita Falls and Joyce Newton of Canadian, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Chad Esch and wife Susan, Kara Esch, all of Wichita Falls, and Skye Newton of Canadian, Texas; three great-great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jaden Emanuel and Amanda Dawkins; her twin sister, Lillie Ausburn of McKinney, Texas; three sisters, Gladys Thompson of Farmersville, Texas, Dorothy Foster of McKinney, Texas; and Janice Umphrey of Denison, Texas.

Services for Edith Dickerson, a retired accounting department employee for The Dallas Morning News, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Laurel Land Funeral Chapel in Dallas. Burial will be at Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Mrs. Dickerson, 69, died of liver and kidney failure Thursday at Methodist Medical Center in Dallas.

She was born in rural Haskell County and moved to Seymour early in her childhood. She attended schools in Seymour and graduated from high school in Wichita Falls.

During World War II, Mrs. Dickerson moved to Long Beach, Calif., and worked for Bell Telephone. She came to Dallas in 1969 and worked for a furniture company.

In 1971, Mrs. Dickerson joined the accounting department at The News as a billing verification clerk. She retired in 1987.

She is survived by one daughter, Darlene Edelman of Glendale, Calif.; and three sisters, Hazel Walker of Dallas, Pat Phillips of Wichita Falls and Joyce Nowell of San Manuel, Ariz.

Imogene Evelyn Crow

Funeral services for Imogene Evelyn Crow, 62, of 114 Lynn Dr. in Bryan will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan with the Rev. Morris House, superintendent of the Methodist church district of Bryan, officiating. Burial will be at Rest Ever Memorial Park in Bryan.

Mrs. Crow died in a local hospital on Sunday.

Visiting hours are from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. today at the funeral home.

She was assistant manager at Triangle Bowling Lanes in Bryan and was a Baptist. She was born in Seymour.

Myrtle McCulloch, longtime resident of Atascosa County, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at 5:25 A..M., in the Southwest General Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 69 years, 4 months, 21 days. Myrtle was born August 15, 1940, in Baldwin, Louisiana, the daughter of Robert Leroy McIntyre Sr. and Adeal Shugart McIntyre. She was a homemaker and spent most of her life in the Poteet and Lytle area.

On June 4, 1966, Myrtle married A.W. (Mac) McCulloch. Mac preceded her in death on February 23, 2005. Myrtle was an avid Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs fan and enjoyed watching their games.

She loved going gambling in Las Vegas and Louisiana with her friends; she played poker, bingo, and cards, and at one time she was a member of three bunco clubs, at the same time. Above all Myrtle loved her granddaughters and delighted in spending time with them. Myrtle is survived by her daughter, Terry Shanefelter and husband Clinton George of Somerset, Texas; her granddaughters, Kristy Shanefelter, Kayla Shanefelter, and Kourtney Shanefelter; step-daughter Rebecca Rice of Devine and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law Travis McCulloch of Lakehills, Texas; her sister-in-law, Mary McIntyre of Garland, Texas; her uncle, J.C. Shugart of Louisiana; her nephews, Tracy Willmon, Kelly McIntyre and Michael McIntyre all of the Dallas area; and numerous cousins.

Mrs. McCulloch was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Adeal McIntyre; her husband, Ashby Wayne McCulloch; her brother, Robert Leroy McIntyre Jr.; her sister, Nettie Elizabeth Roaneu; and her two nephews Gordon and Kenneth Willmon. Wanda Mae Gilstrap passed away March 29, 2016. She was born November 2, 1929 in Sweetwater, Texas, to Virginia McIntyre. Two weeks later she was adopted by Ruth and Frank Chambers who lived in Grand Prairie.

Wanda was an only child whose parents doted on her and spoiled her as much as a child in the Depression could be spoiled. As a girl she played "school" and "church." She dreamed of being a teacher. She attended Pasadena High School where she met Jack Terry, who she married in 1946. One of her first jobs was at Chance Vought in Dallas typing the manual for the F4U aircraft. With Jack she had three children, twin girls Terry and Jerry Terry (1948), and a son, Jackie (1950). She and Jack were married for 14 years.

As a young mother Wanda faced many challenges with the health of her children. Her parents lived close in the Oakcliff neighborhood and helped raise the children. In 1961 Wanda met Robert Gilstrap in a bowling league. They married in 1961 and moved to Victoria in 1962, where Robert was a coach and teacher with VISD. Daughter Virginia Suerene Gilstrap was born soon after. Wanda worked as the main receptionist at The Victoria College for 24 years. She was an avid bridge player and a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Her twin daughters both became teachers and Robert retired from VISD in 1984. Throughout the 80s Wanda enjoyed her grandsons, Christian Mark and Cory Matthew Krueger, and arranged group vacations with her friends.

In 1987 she attended a Methodist leadership retreat called the Walk to Emmaus. She and Robert enthusiastically participated in the movement, helping wherever they could. They also attended the "Come One, Come All" Sunday school class at First United Methodist Church. When she retired from the college in 1990, it was in order to travel to South Africa to help lead the first Walk to Emmaus in that country. It was the first of five trips there. In the 90s she turned her hobby of trip planning into her second career as a travel agent, specializing in cruises and mission trips. During this time, she and Robert traveled all over the world: Alaska, Europe, China, Australia, Brazil and the Greek Isles. However, Robert and Wanda also enjoyed traveling in Texas in their RV and spending time with the Rambling Rose RV club.

Also in the 90s Wanda started researching her birth mother and in 2001 connected with her genetic family, the five other children of Virginia McIntyre Blaskowsky: Lorraine, Caroline, Ruby, Eleanor, Louise and Lloyd. Her half siblings welcomed her into the family with open hearts.

In the new century, Wanda finally got to be a teacher herself. She taught bridge at First Methodist and also gave presentations about the family-of-origin research process. After her husband passed in 2011, Wanda played a lot of dominoes and cards and made many friends at Homewood and Brightwater assisted living residences.

She was preceded in death by: parents Ruth and Frank Chambers, birth mother Virginia Blaskowsky, husband Robert Gilstrap, sisters Lorraine Corser, Ruby Hunt and Louise Salsman. Wanda is survived by: daughters Terry Krueger (Royce), Jerry Terry, and Virginia S. Gilstrap, daughter-in-heart Nelva Wagner, grandsons Christian Mark Krueger (Megan) and Cory Matthew Krueger, great grandsons Brady Royce and Brooks Christian Krueger.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 1, 2016, at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church. A dinner reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.

DONNA - Funeral services for the Rev. Lorraine Blaskowsky Corser, who died of cancer Tuesday at Edinburg General Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sagmiller Funeral Home. Dr. Sidney O. Mrs. Corser, 54, was co-pastor with her husband, the Rev. Myron Corser, of the Hi-Way Chapel Foursquare Church. A Valley native, she was a graduate of Raymondville High School.

RAYMONDVILLE - Funeral services were held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the LaSara Cemetery for Charles LeRoy Blaskowsky, who died Tuesday at the Raymondville Clinic Hospital following an illness of two days. the Rev. Johnson, pastor of the Four Square church at Donna read the last rites.

Interment was made in the LaSara Cemetery with the Howard Mortuary in charge of the arrangements.

Gilbert Earl McIntyre

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Gilbert Earl McIntyre of Rialto, California . He entered into rest at the age of 82 on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. Gilbert was born in Texas on January 13, 1941. Gilbert had a career of being in quality control in aerospace. He had over 40 years of experience.

Gilbert McIntyre

On Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023, Gilbert or Gil as he was known, passed away peacefully after a multi-year battle with Alzheimer's.

Gilbert's life began on Jan 13, 1941 in Texas as the only child to Jesse and Frances (Miller) McIntyre. The young family relocated to Southern California in 1942. Gilbert enjoyed the variety of activities, food and peoples that SoCal had to offer.

After settling into the Paramount/Downey area he attended the local schools including Paramount High School, where he graduated in 1958.

He went to Compton College, was active in Trinity Bible Church teaching Sunday school and singing in the church choir. It was at this time he met his first wife, Janet. They were married for 22 years and they had three children, Christine, Gilbert Jr. and Charron.

Gilbert enjoyed spending time mentoring both the Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts for many years. He also spent time as a Reserve Ontario Police Officer in his younger days.

After having a variety of jobs, he found his place in the aerospace industry. Working in the aerospace industry throughout the Greater Los Angeles area brought him great joy and pride, especially when he was part of the teams working on the Space Shuttle.

Gilbert's love of the outdoors knew many varied pursuits including hunting, fishing, camping, golf, and scuba diving. He enjoyed being able to share his passions with his children, grandchildren and beyond. It was at this time that he met and married his second wife, Colleen.

Later in life, Gil spent less energy on his outdoor interests and his focus shifted as he devoted much of his time reading and studying the Bible. He enjoyed being an active part of Revival Church in Menifee and then Hillside Community Church in Rancho Cucamonga when he moved back to the area to live with family after the death of his 2nd wife.

Gilbert is survived by his daughters, Christine (Robert) Herbert in Rialto and Charron (Art) Rodriguez in Rancho Cucamonga, along with six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition he has two stepdaughters, Penny and Darlene, and three step-grandchildren in the Quail Valley area. In addition, Gilbert remained close with his long time friend of 64 years and first wife Janet Boudreau. Gilbert was preceded in death by second wife Colleen McIntyre, son Gilbert McIntyre Jr. and a great-grandchild.

Services will be on Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. at Draper Mortuary, 811 N. Mountain Avenue, Ontario, CA.

He attended school at Guyman, Okla. and graduated from Denison School in 1953. He married Linda Rhudy on Dec. 22, 1973, in Denison. Mr. Goff retired as a Master Sergeant in 1974, following 20 years of service in the United States Air Force. He later served as assistant director of engineering at Texoma Medical Center for six years and was owner and operator of Mcintyre Saw Shop in Denison. Surviving are his wife, Linda Goff of Denison; sons, Dani Goff, Casey Goff and his wife Stacy, and Dennis Wayne Goff, all of Denison; daughter, Dena Karen Goff of Houston; sister, Helen McCain of Denison; and six grandchildren, including Robert Ogle of Houston and Lindsay Goff of Denison. Helen Louise (Goff) McCain

A talented artist, Helen painted and sculpted both the realistic and whimsical. She also was an accomplished seamstress, sewing for her family and her church, St. Luke's Episcopal in Denison. She loved to cook for her greatest love, her husband, Charles R. McCain. Her gentleness and keen intelligence will be missed by all who knew her. She died Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the age of 75 in the care of her family at The Terrace of Denison and Guardian Hospice. The family will receive visitors 1 hour prior to the service at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in the chapel at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home with Father Don Pershall officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Mrs. Jimmy Martin Is Victim Of Traffic Accident

Funeral services for Mrs. Jimmy Martin, 20, who died from injuries in an automobile accident near Harrison, Ark., were held at 3 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church. Rev. Herbert Dickinson, pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church of which she was a member; and Rev. Richard Ausburn, were the officiating ministers. Interment was in Pecan Grove Cemetery by Harris-Horn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Martin, the former Joan Modyne Ausburn, was born October 13, 1940 in Hunt County, daughter of Floyd and Lillie McIntyre Ausburn. She had lived in McKinney the past nine years, being a 1958 graduate of McKinney High School. A popular student, she was a member of the National Honor Society, Allied Youth, and assistant editor of the Lion Roar, student publication, in her junior year.

Surviving are her husband; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Ausburn of McKinney; sister, Mary Carol Ausburn of McKinney; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Ausburn of Greenville and Mr. and Mrs. O.L. Ratliff.

Ronald Lowell Crow, of Woodstock, Georgia, lost his battle with cancer on May 13, 2012, at the age of 68. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, at South Care Memorial Center, Marietta, Ga., and internment at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Ga.

He will best be remembered for his quarter-century service in the U.S. Navy, retiring as Master Chief, and his fifteen+ years of service in the Canton and Woodstock, GA, Lions Clubs. He was born in Wichita Falls, July 28, 1943. Ron graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Bryan, in 1962, and left to serve his nation, but never forgot his home state, frequently calling it "God's Country." He served in Vietnam, then the Panama Canal Zone, followed by the Pacific fleet in San Diego, CA, and Hawaii. Transferring to Newport, RI, in 1982, he began teaching at the Naval War College and the Senior Enlisted Academy. His last assignment before retiring was Command Master Chief on the aircraft carrier USS Independence (CV-62).
After relocating to the Atlanta area, he began a career in real estate and volunteering with the Lions Club. Although later retiring from real estate sales, he continued serving those with sight impairment until his illness prevented participation. When not serving his community and country, Ron liked to travel, especially in Europe, reading western and espionage novels, and spending time with his family.

The oldest of five, he is predeceased by his parents, Lowell H. and Imogene E. Crow.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Cheryl; daughter and spouse, Cristi and Daniel Kelly of Columbia, Md.; three grandsons, Benjamin, Ian, and Ryan Kelly; son and spouse, John and Kristie Crow of Tallahassee, Fla.; his sisters and their spouses, Judy and James Wright of Harper, Texas, Linda and Bill Watts of College Station, Peggy and John Fields of Frisco, Texas; his brother and spouse, Greg and Doris Crow of Bryan; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Crow Child's Rites Are Conducted Here

Funeral services for Stephen Earl Crow, 6-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. L.H. Crow, were held Wednesday afternoon from Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.

The child died Monday night in a hospital at Gorman where his 7-year-old brother, Ronald Lowell, is undergoing treatment for a similar illness.

Olin Huff, assistant minister of the Tenth and Broad Streets Church of Christ, officiated. Burial was at Crestview Memorial Park.

The youngster was a native of Wichita Falls, moving only recently to Carbon, Texas, with his mother when his father was re-called to active duty with the U.S. Navy as a radioman second class. His father was stationed with the naval armory here for several years.

Survivors besides the parents and the brother include three sisters, Judith Ann, Linda Jean and Peggy Joyce Crow, all of Carbon; and two grandparents, Marvin Brothers of Wichita Falls and Mrs. Alta Crow of De Leon.

Judith Ann Wright passed away peacefully on October 27, 2021 at the age of 75 years in Harper, Texas.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 2 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church located at 23932 US-290, Harper, Texas 78631. Burial will follow in the Harper City Cemetery.

Judy was born on April 13, 1946 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, James Wright; her children Holli Kenton, Sheila Elliott and James Wright II; her grandchildren Jaclyn Untrecht, Kaitlyn Untrecht, Brittney Moore, Brandon Russell, Anastasia Wright, Bradshaw Wright, Randy Wright, Rosslyn Wright, Averi Wright, and Logan Wright; siblings Linda Watts and Greg Crow; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents Imogene and Lowell Crow; son Jason Wright; grandson Cameron Untrecht; and siblings Ronald Crow, Peggy Fields, and Stephen Crow.

Judy loved to travel. Not only had she visited all 50 states, but also over 60 countries. Her favorite vacations always included cruises. Some of her memorable visits included Russia, China, Australia, and Alaska, to name a few. One of her treasured memories was meeting with the Pope. What she loved most of all was coming back home to her ranch in the hill country surrounded by flowers, wildlife, and her dog Gidgett.

In her free time, Judy loved country western dancing, dinner with friends, gardening, and intense game nights. Anywhere with the sea and sand made her the happiest. Her grandkids knew her as Mimi. They looked forward to their trips to visit her almost more than she did. She was always kept busy with annual SeaWorld, Schlitterbahn, or river trips.

Judy held many careers. When she met her husband, Judy was a laboratory technician at Texas A&M University. While married, she maintained a career as a research technician and tax preparer. She soon became field director at the March of Dimes and retired after several years. Judy moved on to become involved in the Hill Country Youth Ranch where she was a part of the thrift shop board. She also helped with various projects such as funding for the Harper community park and grants for the Heart of the Hills Heritage.

CROCKETT - Marsha Ann Nowell, 34, of Crockett, and formerly of Bryan, died in a car accident Monday morning.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hillier Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Monty Gideon of Dallas officiating. Burial will follow at the Rest Ever Memorial Park.

Nowell was born in Wichita Falls and had lived in Crockett for one month. She was a Bryan resident for seven years. She was a member of Lighthouse International Outreach Center.

Sandy Ann Rowland passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2021

Sandy was born March 18, 1950 to the late R.C Phillips and Diamond (Pat) Brothers Phillips in Wichita Falls, TX.

She married the love of her life on March 6, 1971. The couple was married 46 years upon his passing March 10, 2017.

Sandy leaves behind to cherish her memory, son Christopher Rowland of HI, daughters, Traci Rowland of Springhill, FL, Donnette Lea Leffler and husband John of Lake Mary, Florida; seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Phillips; sisters, Brenda Odom (Tommy) of Wichita Falls, TX, and Patricia Smith (Sam) of Rosenberg, TX. She is also survived by her two fur babies Max and Sweetheart.

Sandy was a devoted wife, always up for the challenge of the moves they made during her husband's career. She was MS. GPS for every town they moved to before GPS was invented. She loved to entertain, especially New Years, Halloween, Easter, and Cinco de Mayo. She was fortunate to attend several super bowls, watch some of the best tennis players in the world, play a little tennis herself, enjoyed fishing on their boat "Options". She was a very smart shopper, always looking for a bargain. We will always cherish just being with her, especially when she would share one of her many "colorful" jokes. She was also well known for her generosity.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Halifax Hospice in Orange City, Michelle Saucier and her family for their love and support.
