Joseph Gator Adams, age 68, of Poteet, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 in Jourdanton.

He is survived by his wife, Mary B. (Topper) Adams of Poteet; granddaughter, Ashley Dodd and husband Anthoney of Killeen; grandson, Hunter Strachen of Clarksville, Georgia; great-grandson, Colbey Dodd of Killeen, and great-granddaughter, Raelin Dodd of Killeen. Joseph is also survived by his step-son, Chris Strachen and wife Heather of Clarksville, Georgia.

Joseph Hubert "Butch" Boudreaux was adopted by Ernest Joseph Boudreaux and Lillian Landry Boudreaux in Bunkie, Louisiana. Name was later changed to Joseph Gator Adams.
