    Obituary:

    Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Esterwood for Marilyn McBride Leleux, 80, who died at 1:15 p.m. Monday, June 3, at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley.

    Officiating for the funeral service was the Rev. Rusty Richard, pastor of St. Margaret Catholic Church.

    Readers for the Mass of the Resurrection were here granddaughters, Andrea Trahan and Jeanne T. Marcantel. Giftbearers were her granddaughters, Alice Trahan, Julie T. Martin and Claire Leleux.

    Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley.

    Mrs. Leleux retired after 34 years as a school secretary for Midland High School.

    Survivors include three daughters, Roy Lynn S. Trahan and her husband, Lawrence, of Crowley, Sydna L. Hanks and her husband, Albay, of Jennings, and Ellen L. Myers and her husband, Glyn, of Eunice; a son, Harold P. Leleux, Jr. and his wife, Lyle D. Leleux, of Rayne; three brothers, Edward S. McBride, of Kingsville, Md., Warren McBride, of Rayne, and Harold A. McBride, of Garland, Texas; 12 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by two husbands, Harold P. Leleux Sr. and Roy Lionel Schexnayder; a brother, Sidney McBride; and a sister, Kathleen M. Leleux.

    Pallbearers were her grandsons, Brad, Eric and Luke Hanks, Benjamin Leleux and Derek, Clay and Mark Myers.

    Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Inc. of Crowley was in charge of the arrangements.
