    Memorial services were held at Gossen Funeral Home Thursday, June 6, at 11:30 a.m. for Jonathan Edward Cook, 22, who died at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, at Oschner Medical Center.

    Fr. Eugene Tremie, pastor, St. Joseph Catholic Church, officiated.

    He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Cook of Kansas City, Missouri; father and stepmother, Clifton and Kim Cook of Scott; three brothers, Harry Allen of Michigan, Mike Allen of Rayne and Todd Allen of Lafayette; one sister, Susette Forrestier of Mire; and grandmother, Mrs. Edgar DeVillier of Winnie, Texas.

    Gossen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

    NEW ORLEANS - Jonathan Edward Cook, 22, of Scott, La. died June 4.

    He had lived in McAllen for ten years, and graduated from McAllen High School.

    He died in Oschner's Hospital cardiac unit in New Orleans.

    He is survived by his parents Clifton and Kim Cook of Scott, La., and Kathleen Devillier Cook of Kansas City, Mo.; brothers, Harry L. Allen of Michigan, Michael Allen of Lafayette, La.; one sister, Suzette Forestier, of Mier, La.

    Also surviving, his grandmother, Dorothy Devillier of Winnie; aunts Jane Baker of Anahuac; Marjorie Gossen of Rayne, La., Dorene Devine of McAllen and Rosa Lee Heinkle of McAllen; uncles Jack Cook and Gerald Cook of Edinburg and Bill Cook of San Antonio.

    Memorial services were held at Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, Louisiana on June 6.
