Obituary:

Joan Reese, 69, of 2600 W. Fremont, formerly of Pinewood Health Center in Monmouth, died Friday, Jan. 28, 1994, at her home.

Born Jan. 22, 1925, in Campbell, Mo., to Robert N. and Verna I. Crow Vaughn, she married Edgar F. Reese on Jan. 2, 1966, in St. Louis. He died Nov. 3, 1970, in Mapleton. She also was preceded in death by two daughters, two brothers and one sister.

Surviving are four brothers, Robert Vaughn of Denver, Billie Vaughn of Peoria, Jimmie E. Vaughn of St. Louis, and Paul Killman of North Market, Iowa; and four sisters, Helen Neidkorn of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Marie Ollis of Joliet, Ruth Eaton of Jackson, Mo., and Virginia Moore of Wayne, Mich.

Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
