    William "Bill" Donald Stoffel, 85, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday February 14, 2021 at Life Care Center of Cape Girardeau.

    He was born May 28, 1935 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Jesse and Letha French Stoffel.

    William Donald Stoffel and Nancy June Vaughn Huff were married March 28, 1953.

    He was preceded in death by his father and mother, three sisters, three brothers, a daughter, and a son.

    He is survived by his wife, Nancy Stoffel; one son, Rick Stoffel; a granddaughter, Laura (Brad) Goodman; and sister, Connie DeBrock.

    He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, past president and all offices, managing officer and beloved brother.

    Michael David Stoffel, 59, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born June 12, 1954, in Cape Girardeau to Bill D. and Nancy J. Vaughn Stoffel. He graduated in 1972 from Chaffee High School, where he ran track and played basketball. He was an avid collector of Coca-Cola merchandise and steins. He loved woodworking, crafts and listening to music. Michael worked with his father at Bill's Repair & Remodeling more than 30 years, retiring in 2009 because of ill health. He was a member of Eagles Aerie No. 3775 in Cape Girardeau 34 years. Survivors include a daughter, Laura (Brad) Goodman of Cape Girardeau; parents, Bill D. and Nancy J. Stoffel of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Rick D. Stoffel of Cape Girardeau; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2013 at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel, with Eagles Aerie No. 3775 services at 6:30 p.m. Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. today at the chapel, with the Rev. Ed Stoner officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or Crown Hospice.
