      EWALDT

      Jack Ewaldt, 80, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2003 in Corpus Christi.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

      Jack was born July 8, 1922 in Peshtigo, Wisconsin to Frank and Emma Ewaldt, Sr. He served two years in the U.S. Navy during WWII and stationed on the destroyer, USS Mayo. During his enlistment, he served approximately six months on a patrol craft #1492. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church for seventeen years and a member of Corpus Christi Country Club. He was also associated with Corpus Christi Electric Supply for over fifty years.

      Jack is dearly missed by his wife, Artie Mae "Pat" Ewaldt; daughter, Connie Ewaldt, both of Corpus Christi, Texas; two stepsons, Larry (Mona) Thomas of Katy, Texas; Lonnie (Joy) Thomas of Houston, Texas; four step-grandsons; and one brother, Donnie Ewaldt of Menominee, Michigan.

      Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2003 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Seaside Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaside Chapel. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

      Pallbearers are Lance Thomas, Patrick Thomas, Kyle Thomas, Cody Thomas, Jack Bennett, and Atlee McCampbell II. Honorary pallbearers are Floyd Chapman and all of Jacks golf buddies from Corpus Christi Country Club.

      Donations may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church or The American Cancer Society.
