Voices of Veterans - T. Sgt. Leo Peter Borel
Taken July 7, 2010 Tech Sergeant Leo Borel, a resident of Austin, was a tanker in the U.S. Army during WWII and was later a tech sergeant in the Air Force. He was drafted at the age of 18 and fought in WWII from 1942 through 1945 and made the landing at Casablanca. This is an audio interview of Leo Borel by James Crabtree taken on July 7, 2010 at the Stephen F. Austin Building in Austin, Texas for the support of the Texas Veterans Land Board Voices of Veterans Oral History Program.
